I am waiting for our little fan to arrive from Amazon so I can head out for a ride on our bike soon.

I appreciate having a fan next to me at night because it drowns out a lot of the sounds from people in the building, but someone below me wakes up each morning at 6:30am and makes some kind of knocking or pounding sound, which wakes me up every time.

I wear ear plugs but still hear the sound each morning, so I am hoping that a fan will knock out the noise and I won’t wake up. Air conditioning as well as heating makes sound when it turns on, but I don’t like to use it because it really uses a lot of power. I know I can put this small fan on the corner of our bed as well as the vibration should help drown out any sounds that might normally wake me up. I had a small fan before from the local business, but the coils on it went and the thing burned up a few weeks ago. I tried to buy one last month in January but they looked at me like I was crazy because of the freezing weather we were having. I think the HVAC company will have fans now, but that won’t help me because mine is coming in the mail today. I just need to be home when it arrives or they won’t be able to deliver it to my home. I could ask our heating rep buddy if she could grab it for me when they come.
