Tomorrow my bandmate is coming over to do some work on our music and also some writing. We need to listen to our recordings from when we performed in the streets to see if there is anything good to upload online. I need to also talk with him about the sound levels when we are playing because he is really cranking his voice up too loud. My voice is a bit stronger and I think he wants to have the same level as mine, but you can’t have two loud lead singers or it will sound terrible. My heating rep told me that our music is great, but if my bandmate keeps cranking up his voice too loud I think it is going to ruin our songs. I don’t want him thinking that I want to do all of the singing but I also don’t want to ruin the music that we are making. This local business is going to have us do a show soon and I want to make sure we do a good job there so we can do more shows in the future. We have a unique sound and need to keep doing what we are doing and things will fall into place, but I need to square things away with my bandmate so we are on the same page. He works in the HVAC industry like I do and we met while working on some duct cleaning job one day. I’ve known him for about three years now and we have become really good friends. I hope we can fix this sound issue though.
