Today is Sunday and I am feeling a bit better as far as allergies go.
- My throat is still a bit raw but at least the wind isn’t blowing anymore like it was the whole weekend so far.
I think a lot of pollen and dust got blown around the town and it was causing lots of problems with my allergies. I didn’t get a chance to go to the farmacy to get allergy meds so I have been suffering a bit more than I should be. I just felt lazy yesterday from the allergies and stayed beside my air purifying unit the whole day trying to clear my lungs. I’m sure there was a ton of pollen and dust in my lungs, which is why I felt so tired the whole weekend up until now. Heating and cooling in my house is finally getting a break, and I won’t need any a/c for a few more months. I am getting a fan today from Amazon and that should hold me over in the heat until June comes, which is still three months away. The air conditioning system doesn’t use as much energy as the heating though, so we are good with our power bills until the temps drop again in December. It is really only cold here from December till the end of February and then it gets pretty mild for a few months before the heat comes back. I need to get two things from the local businesses in town soon though; some teeth work and a new hot water heater.
