It is Monday and I am a bit tired from too much wine at my friends party last night.
I think I had five drinks last night and today I am feeling all of them.
I need to cut back on the booze for a while because hangovers like this are something I thought I left in the past. It is too easy to grab a beer or a wine each day, so I need to be my own parent here and put the brakes on this before it becomes too much. Today is water and lemon day, and hot water heater repair day, which I just found out that I am responsible for and not my landlord. I thought that hot water was something that is a given when renting a flat, like having water and electricity, but apparently my landlord thinks differently. This isn’t a problem unless the HVAC company charges me a lot of money to fix the propane boiler. I think it is the heating element in the unit that is bad, so maybe I can Google to see how much the repairs cost. My roommate can shoulder the cost, but if we need a new electric water heating device then it could cost a lot of money. I hope it is something simple and is only like $200, then we could split it and I would have to just pay $100. I will ask the heating dealership what they normally charge for an HVAC service call like this and then come up with a plan to pay for it.
