I really need to get better climate control, because this was just getting ridiculous.

The current central HVAC unit I have is borderline useless.

I have only had it for 5 years, so it is by now old. And yet the efficiency of the central cooling component is that of a window air conditioner. It is that bad. I have had central air conditioners before, so I know that the type of cooling machine is not the problem, it is just a problem with this individual machine. I have called a few different HVAC professionals, and they haven’t been able to find much wrong with it. I’ve had some minor repairs done and nothing seems to change. I make sure to change the air filters, and get HVAC maintenance but it doesn’t make a difference. I am beginning to wonder if I have a dud. Thankfully, I still have the HVAC warranty so if I decide to get a new cooling device, it is not going to cost me. I am very much considering getting a new HVAC installation, but I am wanting to give this unit a few more tries, and if I still can’t fix it, then out to the dump it goes. I am tired of not having good indoor comfort, and bad climate control, something has got to change, and I am determined to make things right. I am going to call a friend of mine who has a bit of heater and air conditioner experience, to see what he recommends later today.
