I just got some news from my mom that my uncle has six to eight months left.

I guess he has pancreas cancer stage four and not much time left.

I will probably never see him again, seeing that I am overseas till Christmas, which is more than nine months away. This is what hurts about living way over here, as my dad died on me two years ago without me being able to get back to see him because of Covid. This only motivates me to push more with my music pursuit over here and make something happen. HVAC installations keep me busy during the day and playing music at night is happening more regularly, which is a good thing seeing that the reason I moved here was to chase my dream. We are going to be playing in clubs and bars starting this summer or fall and I am looking forward to some fun times ahead with it all. The local business near the beach is going to be having us do a show there outside next to the portable a/c units this summer. After that, I think we will be able to get in all of the beach bars in town for the summer, and then we will migrate north to do shows in the ski resorts this winter. We will get an air conditioned caravan soon and then travel in climate controlled luxury around the country making people happy with our crazy music. This has been a dream of mine my whole life and I’m glad we have a shot at it.
