I’ve been taking cold showers for a few days now and am ready for some warm water again.
I appreciate taking my cold sea swim, but coming to the apartment to take a warm bath is so nice, and pretty much necessary to get my body temp back to where it should be.
I’ve been using my little water boiler in the home office and filling up the sink with sizzling water so that I can soak my hands and feet in it to sizzle them up. I guess I could do this for a few more days but I will need a warm water gas furnace to disinfect dishes and disinfect clothes soon; my own flatmate is not so keen on cold showers, as it is still winter season and the cold water is absolutely cold. I am an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C tech myself and could repair the gas water gas furnace but I don’t have a lot of time to do so, so I am hoping the heating and cooling expert can get out here and repair the thing for a superb price. I assume that maybe my landlord would chop the cost with me if it was absolutely fancy, but hopefully it is just the element that needs to be replaced. I will check out the price of a heating element for my brand of warm water gas furnace to see what I could do it for, as I am a certified heating, ventilation, and A/C tech still and don’t mind doing the work as long as I have the right tools. My neighbor may also have some tools because she is a repairman for our building.
