Well, I have now survived four days without beer.
I was drinking a beer or two each day for the past few years, but lately that beer or two has slowly increased to two or three, so now I am halting it altogether.
I bought some of those non alcoholic beers and stocked my fridge with them and I am already feeling better about myself. I don’t like being a slave to something like beer, so now I am going to go at least a month without it to see how I feel. My HVAC expert friend saw me last night outside a local business and he said that I look fresher and brighter. I also stopped smoking four days ago too, so maybe between the two of them I am doing something right. My job working for the new contractor in town is going well and I think I will start doing more heating device repairs now that I feel like I have more energy. I think last Sunday night was a defining moment at my friends party when I drank about five drinks and felt pretty bad the following morning. It is tough enough working on ductwork cleaning in an attic, and with a hangover it makes the HVAC work downright terrible. So now let’s see how strong my conviction is with this dry dock that I put myself on. I think my cooling specialist is going to help me too because she got tired of feeling hungover while doing her heat pump work and smart thermostat programming. So together I think we can help each other.
