I thought radiant heated flooring was going to be the answer to my freezing house.
I knew radiant heating would be put under the flooring.
The heat would heat the floors, plus the heat would radiate into any surface that met with the floor. That meant my feet would regularly be warm. I didn’t suppose about how it was going to affect my home office, or the study rooms. I appreciated a cooler study room plus thought turning the thermostat low would keep the study room cool. It kept the temperature down, but it was regularly sizzling in the bed. I didn’t like not finding any cool spots on the sheets or pillows. I could not make a pie because the counters were too warm, plus the butter would melt. I was regularly throwing the pie dough in the refrigerator to lower the temperature again. I was exasperated with my friends, becaus none of them liked my radiant heated flooring. I may not have liked it, despite the fact that I didn’t suppose my friends should be so adamant about their dislike. They should have been polite. Before the next winter season arrived, I had the radiant heat detached, plus I went back to the regular boiler. It was a lot of wasted money, despite the fact that I had to be comfortable in my home, plus I wasn’t comfortable with radiant heated flooring. Maybe I should have stuck with the heat only in the bathrooms, like my spouse suggested. I never did listen to him when he made suggestions, but maybe I should start. He was smart in so many ways, despite the fact that I never noticed until the radiant heat debacle happened.
