When my spouse plus I moved into our house, the Heating plus A/C system was brand new.
My friend and I had the paperwork from the Heating plus A/C corporation that included the warranty, plus the date the boiler plus air conditioner equipment were installed.
My spouse called to make sure the paperwork was right, plus then he signed the paperwork for our home. He didn’t want to get duped into thinking our Heating plus A/C system was new, when the current Heating plus A/C device was installed into the cabin the past owners lived in. The only thing that wasn’t replaced was the ductwork. When my friend and I had our inspections done, the Heating plus A/C inspector told us it was an excellent Heating plus A/C system, but the ductwork was disgusting. He told us my friend and I needed to have the ductwork replaced within the next year. He pointed out the rust plus where there were several small holes plus cracks near where the rust was. He didn’t want to poke the rust, because he was afraid of creating another hole, or worse, making a hole already present too immense to be repaired. He made an appointment with the ductwork cleaners to wipe the ductwork, plus seal the cracks plus holes already in the ductwork. He said this was a temporary fix, plus my friend and I needed to beginning considering our chances for current ductwork. My spouse’s mouth dropped open, plus I was devastated. I asked if it would be cheaper if my friend and I bought flexpipe ductwork. He said it would, plus it would be more convenient to not have the metal ductwork hanging all over. It was still going to be high-priced, even if it was cheaper.
