We lived in the mountains, and there were very few roads that were black topped.
Most of our homes were in fields, and the roads were still dirt roads. There was dust all over, and the air often smelled of manure. I wanted a UV light, and a backup air filter to capture what the first air filter didn’t. I didn’t want my baby’s lungs to be filled with dust and dirt. I didn’t want him to smell the manure or other odors that were in the house. He looked at me when I brought up the subject of the air purifier, for a second time. He asked if I wanted him to have the ductwork cleaned too. I thought that would also be nice, and I told him so. We lived in the house for almost eight years now, and the ductwork had never been cleaned. I called the HVAC company when he left for work. I wanted the ductwork cleaned and an air purification system installed.
