We don’t realize that there are all different types of air filters in technology that we use in our day-to-day lives.
For example there are air filters in our coffee pots, there are filters in our microwaves, cars, dryers and HVAC system.
Out of all of these air filters, the most important air filter that’s in our home is our hvac system’s air filter. All these air filters are all different types, shapes and sizes. With some of these filters you can get top of the line or a cheap filter. When it comes to my hvac air system I make sure that I purchase the top of the line air filters. Getting the best air filter is important to me because I want to make sure I have the best air quality in my home. Depending on the type of air filter that you get, some air filters have really close fibers on the filter frame that collect most of the particles in the air that pass through it and some of the cheaper air filters have less fibers that aren’t as tight as the more expensive filters and will sometimes allow particles to pass through. I don’t want any particles to go directly straight through the filter. I want all the particles that are in my air to be trapped and contained in my air filter. Getting the type of air filter that you want for your HVAC system is all based on preference. There’s no special brand, but a lot of people spend anywhere between $15 and $35 for an air filter. Make sure you look at your air filter every six months to make sure that it’s not clogged, but always make sure you change it every year.
