Last weekend I went on a date with a really nice guy.
He was outgoing, friendly and had a good sense of humor.
He chose the spot where he wanted to take me out on a date. I was excited because I’ve never been to that restaurant before. He picked me up at seven in his car and we drove there. When we were outside of it I thought that it was a little old and we walked inside and it was very dark. The lighting wasn’t very good but i’m guessing they kept the lighting dark for a romantic mood? anytime that I’m in that kind of darker atmosphere I want to go to sleep. so I made sure to get a coffee during that dinner date. We sat down and immediately I felt cold. I had no idea if there was a heating system on but I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want to be that kind of girl who was needy, especially on the first date. I looked around and a lot of people had suit jackets on or a sweater. I really wish that some form of heating system kicked on in that restaurant. It was one of the coldest dates that I ever been on and I’ve been on outside dates during the winter and I could not handle the temperature on this one. Finally my date said that he was getting pretty chilly, he asked if I was and I agreed with him. When our waiter came around he asked if the heater could be turned up a little, she said that unfortunately she could not touch the thermostat but she could ask her manager if he could. After 5 minutes the restaurant began to warm up a bit and it ended up being a very nice first date.
