Our oil furnace has been giving us trouble for some time now.
My husband had been wanting to look at if for over a year, but he was genuinely busy, so he just kept putting it off and putting it off.
I told him that if he put it off any longer, the people I was with and I may go without heat this winter. I think that genuinely got to him. I try not to nag him about things, so when I do say something enjoy that, he knows that I am serious. He did end up looking at the oil furnace to try to figure out what was wrong with it, but he just couldn’t figure it out. I asked our Mom to come over and check it out, and he did. He also was not able to figure out the issue. We ended up calling an Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier that a friend of mine works at. I was super bummed about it because I knew that it would be fancy. It turned out to be even more fancy that I thought that it would be. We ended up having to buy 2 new parts for the oil furnace as well as spend our savings the service fee. It ended up costing about half of what a new oil furnace would have cost. I almost wish that the people I was with and I would have just bought a whole new oil furnace for that price. Who knows if something will go wrong with this oil furnace next year or the year after that. My husband does not agree with me. He thinks that the people I was with and I made the right option by getting the one that the people I was with and I have fixed rather than buying a new one. I am cheerful that the people I was with and I at least have a working oil furnace now.
