After highschool, our sibling & her friends went on a road trip across the country; They stopped at more than 2 campsites & hotels along the way.
They had spent more than 2 years planning & preparing for this month long journey, however knowing that their parents would be upset about them being on their own for so long & so far away, they assured them they would maintain the car before the trip, and my sibling was the driver & our dad made sure they had everything they needed before the set off on this journey across the country.
They were prepared for anything, or so they thought. They were taught how to change a tire, check tire pressure, & to keep an eye on the dashboard. If anything happened, they were instructed to call their parents before going to a mechanic in a odd town, but half way through the trip, the air conditioner in the car stopped blowing chilly air. They were traveling in the middle of the Summer & an air conditioner was necessary. They were not prepared for this kind of problem! They knew it could be much worse, so they rolled down the windows & dealt with it. They were staying in hotels most of the time & knew they would be able to take luck of the air conditioner in the rooms! When they arrived home, they had more than 2 stories to tell. They also returned apartment with a big appreciation for a/c! My sibling ended up purchasing a current car later that year & was unquestionably thankful for the A/C in the current car.
