We have been planning our annual firehome fundraiser for over 6 months plus every detail has been confirmed at least 10 or 12 times.
Everything from the entertainment to the food plus beverages has been vetted at least 10 or 12 times too.
We raise cash each year to supply needy families with Christmas presents that they would not normally be able to afford on their own. We have been able to make the Holiday feel bright for nearly fifty families each year plus it makes us suppose fine to help out. One of the many things that take locale during the fundraiser is a raffle of big items such as vacation trips, televisions, plus even a vehicle occasionally. This is 1 of the central reasons people attend the function so every one of us rely on the sales of those tickets; Knowing that the event was upcoming every one of us sited the order for the custom printed tickets a ways in advance. As soon as every one of us had a list of the sizable prizes 1 of our oldest members designed the tickets plus ordered them from an online dealer. It was supposed to save us a lot of cash by purchasing them this way plus it entirely would have if there wasn’t a delay in our shipment. Due to serious storms out West the printing contractor had to delay sending them out by a few weeks, however part of their facility was mangled during the storm plus they were short of the needed equipment. We ended up having to pay a local print shop rush fees to make sure every one of us possessed the tickets to sell. This absolutely cut into our profits for the fundraiser but every one of us had no option. Secondly, every one of us were now going to be stuck with tickets that were basically worthless so every one of us cancelled that order too. The online contractor seemed understanding plus refunded us most of the cash every one of us had sent them. At that point We made the decision to simply go with the local guy in the future just so every one of us could avoid any hassles.
