I remember the home our parents used to have, it was the home us teenagers were raised in. Every one of us used to prefer running around the property and into the apple orchards. Well, there was a single serious Winter time I recall when the two of us had this bad blizzard that lasted for a long while. Our gas gas furnace ended up failing on us, but fortunately the two of us had the fireplace that permitted us to keep overheated through the duration of the storm. Even though the blizzard was brutal, it was still superb when you looked outside after the storm. Every one of us were so thankful to have our fireplace, otherwise the two of us undoubtedly would have froze to death. Every one of us had a good size stack of wood because for some reason, our father insisted that the two of us all keep tearing wood before that unique Winter time season. It’s almost like our father knew that there would be a brutal storm and the two of us would need plenty of firewood for the fireplace to make it through. A lot of our neighbors did alright with their fireplaces as well through that devastating storm, and during the storm, the two of us spent day and night making sure to feed the fire in the fireplace with more wood, so that the two of us would not become cold. Every one of us all slept around the fireplace while I was in that time as well when our gas gas furnace was not laboring. My parents have since sold that beach house where us teenagers grew up, but it will consistently remain in our memory as some of the best times of our life. Even now, I have a fireplace in our home because I know having a fireplace is pressing for survival, in case the main heating idea fails.
