My local heat and cooling system specialist said to myself and others in passing that if I wanted to save on my overall energy use while in our really warm summertimes that every one of us have, that I should get myself a portable cooling system. The idea was to run the portable air conditioner idea if I am at a beach condo in the daytime and day instead of running the central cooling systems. Due to the fact that portable cooling systems take up much less energy use to run! And let myself and others tell you, this really worked! I tried it for 2 weeks, and after that 2 weeks I had already saved almost one hundred and more than nine dollars in electric bills! After about a year or two of this, that would be almost one thousand dollars I would estimate!
