I don’t really appreciate the noisy furnace I got

You never truly know what you had until it’s gone, am I correct? I think that this is an old cliche…but it holds true as you gain life experience and all kinds of regrets throughout your adulthood.

For instance, when you lose a romantic partner or pal and abruptly cannot stop appreciating all of the small things that they did for you! Or, if you transport out of a certain region of the nation and find yourself dreaming of the climate that you were living in.

Fairly recently, I realized that I never appreciated our boiler equipment the way that I should have! When I moved into this lake property I was surprised to see the old school boiler system in the basement. There were radiators located throughout the entire lake property which supplied continual heat to all of the rooms. I seriously never thought much of the old heating equipment, except when I easily adjusted the thermostats and actually felt the indoor air temperature increasing. I was glad that I could rely on our indoor air handling equipment but I did not truly understand how the boiler system functioned! And then… I made the choice to get a traditional forced air oil furnace. Since I already had ductwork in the lake property for our central air conditioning equipment I decided I might as well connect a central furnace to them. Little did I know, the forced air oil furnace would create a ton of extra noise and airborne contamination that I was not happy to have. Since I had the current forced air oil furnace installed by a professional heating and cooling specialist, our lake property has not been the same. It’s completely loud and dirty all the time. I can’t easily rest during the evening over the sound of the oil furnace cranking in the basement. And I’m honestly prepared to go back to our old boiler system as soon as I can get an HVAC professional at my place.
