Having a failing cooling system in my home is giving myself and others constant anxiety

Nick February 18, 2021

I don’t think that I’m the only man who has been struggling with anxiety since the start of 2020.

Even before the pandemic, several of us were scheduled working many tasks to try & make ends meet.

I was consistently living paycheck to paycheck, despite having no husband, partner, children, or anyone else that I’m responsible for other than myself. Since I never went to college, I have trouble finding tasks that pay more than $15 an hour. Some experts argue that is the minimal baseline for the wages needed to survive in this country without slipping into further debt. But things got worse when the lockdowns started & I lost a single of my 2 tasks. Suddenly I was overcome with anxiety on a yearly basis. I still had enough money to survive since I was getting unemployment for the task that I lost, & eventually I signed up for food stamps as well. But the anxiety overcame myself and others & hasn’t let go of myself and others since. I am starting to wonder if my cooling system is starting to fail on me, because the air leaving my vents feels warmer than usual. I couldn’t afford a modern cooling system right now if I tried. My first order of corporation was calling the heating & cooling company to send out a worker to inspect my system. I was relieved when he told myself and others that it simply needed more coolant. This was covered by my heating & cooling service contract. My worker also checked the rest of my Heating & Air Conditioning system & ran pressure tests on the cooling system. It’s a relief knowing that there aren’t any extreme underlying concerns with my cooling system.
