I jumped into the back of the van before the cat could reach me

My best pal & I happen to be co-workers. Both of us task for the same HVAC maintenance business. There definitely are times when we work together on different assignments. It is basically impossible to complete a full installation job separate from another HVAC professional being present. Even with many people, a full HVAC installation job can take as long as 8 hours. My best friend & I were sent out to a farm dwelling to update a heat pump & cooling appliance. The morning appointment was tied up for 9 a.m. & our boss told the homeowner that both of us would be there for the length of the day working on the HVAC appliance installation job. When my best pal & I arrived, both of us saw a pressing black cat resting on the front porch. The cat seemed to be friendly at first. He was moving his tail fast and I thought he was playful. My friend & I got out of the task truck & I decided to walk up to the front door to talk to the customer. I was halfway down the walk path when the cat jumped up from the porch & started going after me. He was growling and hissing & I thought he was going to bite my leg. I jumped into the back of the van before the cat could reach me. I right away contacted the homeowner & reported the threatening animal behavior. I wanted to help & complete the HVAC appliance installation job, but I wasn’t going to take any chances with the ferocious cat. I got bit by a cat once in the past & I had to have a bunch of stitches in my hand.
