I don’t think I’m a particularly good human being, but I try not to be a bad one, either.
When I was younger really worked hard to be kind to everyone.
Once I went out of my way to be friends with one of the needy kids in school. He was a really nice guy, but he was bullied because of his wild family. After meeting, we became pals for the rest of our lives. There was a period when we lost touch, during which he stayed in town to attend the heating, cooling, and air quality control certification program at our local skilled trade school. He graduated quickly with his heating, cooling, and air quality control degree and immediately began working for a well-known HVAC dealership in the downtown area. When I returned from my travels, we quickly returned to being friends, despite our continued differences. And I am so grateful for his heating, cooling, and air quality control skills. You see, my heating and cooling friend has been instrumental in creating the house of my dreams – where we both often hang out. We have renovated everything in the structure, including the indoor air temperature control devices. My friend has regularly come over and helped me replace the furnace with radiant heated floors. We swapped the traditional air conditioning system with a geothermal heat pump for the mild summers. And we have even installed zone controlled heating and cooling in 5 different unique temperature zones. If it wasn’t for my friend, my house wouldn’t be stacked with modern indoor air temperature control. Without me, my friend would have nowhere to stay when his family acts up.
