Deciding between workout equipment to purchase

I am able to workout at any time of day or night for as long as I choose

When I relocated out of the city, I had to give up my gym membership. My new area is a lot more rural and too far away from the closest gym. I’d be wasting too much time in the car traveling to and from the gym. Because I needed to invest in a home gym, I devoted my last several training sessions at the gym to figuring out what style of equipment I preferred. There was no question about investing into a weight bench, yoga mat, jump rope and a collection of weights. I could afford a collection of resistance bands as well as weighted balls and poles. My concern was over the larger equipment. At the gym, I could vary between using the treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, stairmasters and rowing machines. In the beginning, I knew I would only be able to invest in a single machine. They are super high-priced and require a great deal of space. I was thinking of buying a treadmill but then considered that this type of workouts puts a lot of impact on the joints. Plus, I have the ability to run outside if the weather is nice. The same is true of a stationary bike because I could always hop on an actual bicycle. I don’t enjoy using the stair climber and the rowing machine isn’t as high intensity as I wanted. This left me focused on the elliptical. I researched all the available makes and models to figure out the best unit for my exact preferences. I am totally delighted with the elliptical and having a home gym is really wonderful. I am able to workout at any time of day or night for as long as I choose. However, I miss the wider selection of options.
