In the spring, he wanted to make sure there was no winter damage to the house, and he had to clean all debris from the outside. When summer arrived, he was even worse. They had just found out my sister was going to have a baby. They also had a vacation planned, and summer was coming. He wanted to have everything ready before the baby came. My sister told him that she was only six weeks pregnant, but he insisted the next eight months were going to go quickly. He called to have the HVAC system cleaned and the ductwork cleaned and sanitized. My sister told me he was like a whirling dervish. He wanted to get the spare room ready for the baby. He was listing paints that would be okay for a boy and a girl and looking at furniture. I’m not sure who was more excited about the baby, my sister or her husband. Last week, she called me and said he was adding an air purification system to the HVAC system. He wanted to make sure the air his baby breathed was the freshest on earth. She said she’s afraid to see what else he will come up with before the baby is born.
