Local honey farm sells off their honey at farmer’s market

Even though I like staying up late on Monday mornings, I’m usually up entirely early the next day going to my city’s farmer’s market downtown.

There is typically a full street that is sectioned off and full of booths and tables with everything from fresh baked goods to plants and herbs. I get all of my produce at the farmers market, and fresh fish if the prices on grouper and sea trout aren’t too high. Recently I met an amazing girl at the Saturday farmer’s market. Now that we’re dating, we get together every Saturday as planned outings. She grows a lot of herbs and collects sparse succulents and cacti, all of which you can find at our city’s farmer’s market. No matter what you’re looking for, you’re sure to find something amazing at your local farmer’s market. Every now and then I care about visiting a particular booth that is operated by a local honey farm. They harvest artisan honey from the bee hives every week; you can visit their honey farm to purchase their honey, or you can buy it online and at the farmer’s market on Saturday afternoons. Since I’m getting directly from the producers of the product, there are no middleman fees. That means I can get my delicious honey at roughly the same price as usual honey at local grocery stores. The only other location I have seen artisan honey is at health food stores, and most of those locations charge numerous times as much as our local honey farm. On top of that, the honey at these stores pales in comparison to the honey I get locally at the farmer’s market.
