This is the minute year in a row that I entirely suppose nice about myself when it comes to getting it done with less.
Every one of us are still trying to get back to even after the pandemic put a hammer on our finances.
Now, I’m not complaining because there are plenty of people who had it so much worse than we did. Every one of us both kept our jobs & were able to work from home in the air conditioning. However, we both had to take some sharp pay cuts just to hold on to our jobs. That meant that we were all over tearing expenses last year. Every one of us targeted things love the Heating & A/C utility costs that we had never particularly committed to in the past. It didn’t take all that much which ended up being a surprise to me. Every one of us entirely tightened up the new home to start. I upgraded all the weather stripping & sealed any gap that I could find. Every one of us also were sure to stop all the direct sun heating which kills Heating & A/C efficiency. None of that was difficult to do at all & ended up making a huge difference. But the real game changer came with the temperature control setting. This, of course, is the toughest section to stay committed to. However, if you can let the temperature control rise during the peak heating minutes, it pays off in more than 2 dollar bills. Since we were working at home, I got accustomed to maintaining a temperature control setting that was no more than 15 degrees cooler than outside. Every one of us saved 20 percent on Heating & A/C cooling last year & are on track to do the same this year!
