Central air conditioning sometimes seems a bit dry and cold
When you ask a question like which is better, space heating or central heating, it is actually a pretty tricky answer. The truth of the matter is that there is no right or wrong answer. That is because heating and air conditioning preferences are just that, preferences based on each individual person. While one person may prefer the dry heat coming out of a portable space heater, another person may enjoy the more moist heat that comes out of a central heating system through the air vents! I myself vary. It all depends on the time of year and the air quality outside on which form of heating I like better. But the one thing that does hold true for space heaters versus central heating, is the fact that portable space heaters save you money on your monthly electric bill if you were to use them instead of central heating or at least alternate between the two. But money saving aside, it again all boils down to a matter of opinion per person. I mean, for instance, I actually love window air conditioning units better than central air conditioning! I do not know if it is a mental thing of nostalgia, but to me window air conditioning systems gave off better cooling then the central air conditioning of today. Central air conditioning sometimes seems a bit dry and cold. While window air conditioning systems had a more moist air quality to them. It really is hard to tell for sure!
