An old fashioned window AC unit fits the bill

She found it especially taxing to sleep with those higher thermostat settings.

Not many of years ago my kid picked up roots and moved away from the town she was born and raised in. She now lives about 5 minutes away from me. It’s not absolutely far, and I guess she genuinely likes it. I will say that there is genuinely no need to use a oil furnace down there. Up here, where I live, we do have a little bit of time when it’s necessary to turn the heating on. Most of the time, care about the rest of the state, we use a/c. Every so often around my condo though, it’s time to flip the thermostat from cooling to Heating. Anyway, my kid bought a small, old fashioned condo made from CBS block, then for the most part, CBS block is a fantastic insulator, so it should not be too terribly expensive to operate Heating and Cooling. Unblessedly, though, my kid discovered that it gets so sizzling where she lives that the a/c has a taxing time keeping up. The fact that the AC runs all the time separate from stopping is reflected in her Heating and Cooling bill from the city. Utilities run quite High oh, and there are lots of taxes on them in her City. After living with high a/c bills for about a year, she started setting the thermostat higher than she normally would. That is not ideal, of course. She found it especially taxing to sleep with those higher thermostat settings. That’s when she decided to get supplemental cooling for her dining room. I commanded a mini break a/c. She likes the idea, but a window a/c with so much cheaper she just went with that. And she is cheerful with it.
