I’m not sure what I was thinking when I decided to go camping in the desert.

Not only do I have zero survival experience, but I do not really love the outdoors to begin with. I’m not really an outdoorsy type of person and I never have been. However I suppose you could say I provided in to peer pressure, because all of my friends were outdoors people and they were all going on this really nice sounding trip where they were going to go out camping in the middle of the desert. I just kind of went along because I did not want to be left out but I ended up hating it the whole time. Why you could say that I consciously knew that I was walking into a desert after all, I just could not get over the heat. It was so hot and I was constantly covered in sweat and I was just irritated the whole time. The entire time I was there I was thinking about how much I missed my lovely heating and A/C system. Specifically in my cooling system, I just purchased my A/C from a local heating A/C company only a year before and it was one of the best air conditioner units that I had ever had. It was frigid and easily reliable. I tried to imagine myself back at lake lake house lying on my couch underneath the air vent, just filling in the cool air, touching my skin and instantly making the heat evaporate. But that was not my reality and it did not take long before my covered in sweat brought me straight back to reality. It was a 3-day trip and for me it was 3 mornings of torture. I suppose I was going to want to have a superb time however it was something that I l gained I will never do again.
