My brother is truly not the smartest man that I know. When I went to visit the man a couple of weeks back at his school dorm, I saw that he was placing all kinds of stuff on top of his space furnace because he was in need of some extra storage space! That wouldn’t have been such a major problem for him if the space furnace had not been plugged in and easily turned on! I was stunned when I walked in the dorm room and observed that. I honestly started to yell at his about it being a fire hazard and he just rolled his eyes at me like it wasn’t anything serious. Periodically I can’t find it easy to believe that we came from the same set of parents. He is so annoying when it comes to things of this nature. I ended up resting down with the guy and trying to explain how things can cause fires. I even looked up the statistics on fires that are started every year because of those little electric space furnaces for the clueless guy. But of course, in true fashion when it comes to my brother, he didn’t care about any of it. He basically said that the dorm has fire alarms in case anything happens. But it was almost as though he was trying to make sure that it would. I know that nobody in their right mind puts books, loose papers, and clothing on top of a space heater when it’s being used! That’s just foolish, if you ask me. I don’t know, possibly my brother is looking for a way to get out of school, despite the fact that I do not truly think that’s it. I think that he’s essentially just too careless.
