For a long time, I had a serious issue with poor air quality in my home. I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong because I changed the air filters regularly and got regular HVAC system maintenance. An HVAC professional who came out to my home finally told me that I should invest in a powerful air purification system. He said sometimes it’s not enough to just use your HVAC system air filter to keep the air quality nice. He made a good point and he also pointed out how a lot of air purification systems actually use HEPA filters. Of course it’s expensive to have to change those air filters all the time, but if you are looking for superior air quality, it’s the right move to make. I also asked the guy if I could just buy HEPA filters for my regular HVAC system. He tested my system to make sure and said that unfortunately, my HVAC system was not powerful enough to utilize HEPA filters. This was sad to hear, but he said I couldn’t go wrong with one of their new UV air purification systems. He even told me how the UV light works to kill dangerous pathogens. That sounded pretty good, so I decided to invest in this new HVAC component. I’m glad that I did because my air quality has been wonderful ever since. It also helps that I am getting my regular ductwork cleaning done each year too. There’s just certain things like this that you have to keep up with if you wish to have decent air quality in your place.
