My sister is definitely not the smartest person that I know.
When I went to visit her a couple of weeks ago at her college dorm, I saw that she was putting all kinds of stuff on top of her space heater because she needed extra storage space.
That wouldn’t have been such a major issue if the space heater had not been plugged in and actually turned on! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked in the dorm room and noticed that. I started to yell at her about it being a fire hazard and she just rolled her eyes at me. Sometimes I can’t believe that we came from the same set of parents. She is so annoying when it comes to things like this. I ended up sitting down with her and trying to explain how things like that can cause fires. I even looked up the statistics on fires that are started every year because of those little electric space heaters for her. But of course, in true fashion when it comes to my sister, she didn’t care. She said that the dorm has fire alarms in case anything happens. But it was almost like she was trying to make sure that it would. Nobody in their right mind puts books, loose papes, and clothing on top of a plugged in space heater! That’s just dumb, if you ask me. I don’t know. Maybe my sister is looking for a way to get out of school, but I don’t think that’s it. I think that she’s just too careless.
