I am not one of the fortunate people who has ductless air conditioner! Mini cut ductless A/C units are quite fantastic in our opinion, but I have what just about everyone else has in this area, and plain ancient Central Heating plus Cooling… I shouldn’t complain, for sure, as both of us are all quite spoiled in the heating plus cooling Department in this country, however someday I hope to get a mini cut ductless A/C system if the HVAC gentlemen say it is suitable for our house, and anyway, since I do have a ducted HVAC system, every once in a while I have to service the HVAC duct, and since I have owned our home I have had to service the HVAC duct 2 times, both times were for the same reason.
I live in a lake house that has a crawl space underneath.
My lake house is about 100 years old, which makes it absolutely particular plus Charming, however kneeling off of the ground causes some of its own issues… That is not to say that it is weird for a house’s Foundation to have a built-in crawl space. It is quite common, in fact! Just know that if you are going to buy a lake house plus your lake house sits up off the ground, you may someday have to service your A/C duct. Both times that I have had to do the A/C service was because creatures managed to get into our crawl space plus damaged the HVAC duct… One time, the HVAC gentlemen refused to even go under there. They made myself and others call in a critter getter before they would even look closely at the HVAC duct.Even though it was lavish, it was honestly worth it, then living in the Southeast separate from air conditioner is simply not an option.
