Have you heard about this new getawaying Trend called ecological getawaying? I thought it sounded kind of cool, and I figured it would be about exploring the Great Outdoors and learning more about the environment.
When I looked into it a little bit more, though, I discovered I was way off base.
Ecological getawaying generally means staying at a resort that uses no heating and cooling system; Can you imagine that? I have to admit that one of the greatest things I like to do about getaways is using the free air conditioning. When I go to a hotel, one of the first things I do is head over to the A/C equipment and start blasting out the chilly air. If I happened upon a hotel that had no A/C in our room, I would be Maying down to the front desk and demanding a new room. If I was told that none of the rooms have air conditioning, I would put our clothes back in our suitcase and head for the closest normal Hotel. Even though I feel this way, I have l acquired that going on getaway separate from using Heating, Ventilation and A/C is becoming changingly common. The woke generation likes to feel enjoy it is in solidarity with the bad people of the world. In general I do not dismiss lightly the desire to help others, however, I do feel that often these people are misguided, and just because you choose to take a getaway and not use the air conditioning or the heater, depending on which is appropriate, does not mean you know what it is enjoy to be poor. I say if you are going to take a getaway, enjoy it. If that means flipping the thermostat down on the air conditioner, so be it.
