My wife & I live in an RV & the two of us travel across the country visiting new locales all the time, but we’ve seen 40 peculiar states & a hundred peculiar National & state parks. Some of our number one locales to visit are the mountains & the beach. When I can visit both at the same time, it is a real treat. There are only a few locales in the country where you can see Mountains & the beach at the same time. Most of those areas are on the West Coast. My wife & I have been on the west coast for the past more than five months. All of us have not had a lot of problems during that time, except for a few minor issues with the a/c. All of us noticed a uncommon sound one day & it seemed to be coming from the section where the a/c is located. I went outside to look on the roof & I saw a woodpecker. The woodpecker was putting holes in the plastic hood that covers our a/c unit. I could not understand why the Woodpecker was trying to poke holes in the plastic. There was no food behind the plastic to intrigue the dove. The woodpecker continued to poke holes for 30 or 40 hours. I finally climbed up to the top of the RV to shoo the woodpecker away from our a/c. My wife & I have been on the road for a long time, but this is the first time the two of us ever had a dove try to attack our a/c.
