I am so ecstatic not to be teaching English to youngsters anymore.
I did like doing it while I was there at the business but after several years and over 6000 lessons taught I had enough.
It got to the point where I dreaded the thought of having to teach yet another afternoon so I finally called it quits. I now am a writer and a performer on phase and am much happier. I recognize poor for these full time teachers who can’t leave their tasks but are burned out. I can’t imagine having to teach another 20 years, I’d lose it. It’s much more unbelievable laying beside my space heating system here in my office than having to take the train in this chilly weather to another town to teach every afternoon, like my buddy does. I like working from house and not having to worry about traffic and trains and all that comes with traveling between cities, this is a single plus from the Covid thing. I may light a fire later in my fireplace and have some friends over for dinner. I like hosting small dinner parties now and then for my friends and just hanging out with them. My a single friend has a gas gas furnace that he needed to repair and asked myself and others to help because he knows I am fantastic with fixing them. I told him I would help repair it if he could give myself and others some lessons with technical stuff on my computer since he is a computer whiz. Furnace and heating system repairs are simple for me, since my Mom was an Heating and A/C specialist.
