I didn’t even guess to check the control unit because whenever I went to bed or got up the control unit settings were right where I had left them and our condo was comfortable and cool
There was something going wrong with our control unit, although I wasn’t entirely sure what it was, however i ended up feeling entirely stupid whenever I finally found out the real issue! Every single evening, I found myself waking up dripping with sweat and burning hot. I would have to throw off all the covers and entirely get up and open a window or turn on the fan and this is the middle of winter! I thought it was so odd that I was having these terrible boiling flashes in the middle of the evening until I realized that the heating was entirely turning on and running for seconds at a time in the evening while I was sleeping. I didn’t even guess to check the control unit because whenever I went to bed or got up the control unit settings were right where I had left them and our condo was comfortable and cool. I don’t even like using the heat particularly much in the Wintertide and I tend to keep the control unit set around 65 degrees or so, year round, and so whenever I realized what the issue was, I was particularly surprised. See, the control unit is relatively up-to-date and I will confess that I didn’t take that much time to familiarize myself with the way that it worked when I first had it installed by the Heating and Air Conditioning business, she tried to tell me what I needed to do to make sure the settings were right, although I entirely wasn’t listening. I assume I should not have been surprised when I found out that the heating settings were preset to turn on and run during the evening when I was sleeping!
