I love our seasoned electric furnace.
It has been in the condo ever since the people I was with and I moved in here 10 years ago, and I have no method how long it was here before that; Our condo is pretty old, and I’mpretty sure that the furnace method is original to the house.
Anyway, the furnace is entirely loud, and it sends out this good big roar every single time that it fires up. My partner just cannot seem to get used to it. Every single time that the furnace fires up, she flinches and acts like there’s an airplane flying into the condo or something like that. I don’t guess what her complication is, but you would guess after living here for 10 years, she would be used to it by now! She hates it and she is always complaining about the furnace, although I always defend it. I guess that the furnace sounds cozy and it’s a good reminder that the people I was with and I are safe and hot inside of our house. She is always complaining that it’s way too loud, although I guess that the roar that comes through the heating vents every evening makes for good background noise for sleeping. As a matter of fact, when the furnace is not running, I don’t sleep all that well at all. I would like it if the people I was with and I could just leave the furnace running all the time during the winter, but our partner particularly wouldn’t like that. She entirely wouldn’t like all of the high heating bills every week, either! Either way, though, I don’t entirely want to get a replacement furnace… No matter what our partner says, I guess our furnace sounds just fine.
