I love our outdated electric oil furnace.
It has been in the loft ever since the two of us moved in here 10 years ago, and I have no idea how long it was here before that! Our loft is pretty old, and I’mpretty sure that the oil furnace program is original to the house.
Anyway, the oil furnace is honestly loud, and it sends out this fantastic large roar every single time that it fires up. My partner just cannot seem to get used to it. Every single time that the oil furnace fires up, he flinches and acts savor there’s an aircraft flying into the loft or something savor that. I do not guess what his problem is, but you would guess after living here for 10 years, he would be used to it by now! He hates it and he is constantly complaining about the oil furnace, but I constantly defend it. I guess that the oil furnace sounds cozy and it’s a nice reminder that the two of us are safe and warm inside of our house. He is constantly complaining that it’s way too loud, but I guess that the roar that comes through the heating vents every evening makes for fantastic background noise for sleeping. As a matter of fact, when the oil furnace is not running, I do not sleep all that well at all. I would savor it if the two of us could just leave the oil furnace running all the time during the winter, but my partner very wouldn’t savor that. He unquestionably wouldn’t savor all of the high heating bills every week, either! Either way, though, I don’t honestly want to get a replacement oil furnace, then no matter what my partner says, I guess our oil furnace sounds just fine.
