When you work out in the elements, you have a very specific need when it comes to the heating and cooling in your home. At least, that’s the way it is for me. There are days that the only thing that really keeps me going is knowing that I’m coming home to perfect air conditioning. My job is a passion and I’m lucky for that. But it also comes with plenty of challenges. The weather is a big one. While there is normally a work site trailer with a ductless heat pump at most job sites, I’m not sitting in it. But then again, the idea of sitting inside the zone controlled HVAC of an office was never appealing to me. I like being outside nearly every day because that is where I do my best work. Still, there are times when it can be more that a bit challenging to stay positive and complete the work. The winter and the summer are my most challenging chapters when it comes to my work. It’s really great now because I’ve had a smart thermostat now for years. No more programming the digital thermostat for me. The smart thermostat takes care of all my heating and cooling needs. And it does this without my having to do much of anything. Plus, it saves me money as it reduces the load on the HVAC equipment based on our patterns. I know that every day, when I walk through the door, I’m going to be met with the perfect heating and cooling.
