Normally I don’t mind inviting our sibling to stay at our beach house for a month or two as a means to get away from his hectic life.
Usually both of us have a lot of fun watching motion pictures, eating pizza, plus drinking liquor, but he hasn’t been herself lately.
His moods have turned sour plus he isn’t nice much of the time, regardless of how much kindness you show his from the jump. It’s tough when someone is such a relaxing friend to you for so several years plus then suddenly changes at the snap of a finger. But that’s compounded when the man happens to be your sibling and your friend. Regardless, I recently invited our sibling to stay with me for a month as a means to cheer his up following a recent divorce. I have a guest dining room with a separate a/c in the window if the a/c system coming from the ceiling vent is insufficient. Usually people use the window a/c system sparingly when they’re staying in our guest dining room, but he has been using it non-stop while in both the day plus evening. I already feel how terrible of a hit our electric bill is going to take after a month of this happening every single day. I have been running the central a/c less to compensate, however I suppose that just causes his to run the window a/c system even more. It’s tough for me to say this to myself, however I suppose I’ll be thankful when he finally leaves. I love our sibling however not enough to put up with this kind of behavior.
