- When I originally bought our house, I had to call a professional every time there was a problem.
If the air conditioner was broken, I called an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C service service. If the washing device wasn’t toiling, I called an appliance service service… Over the years, I have watched all of the repairs plus I have really paid attention. I do not have to call the service service as frequently now, because there are several problems that I can really handle on our own. When the house AC wasn’t cooling correctly, I turned off the breaker plus took the device apart so I could look inside. I guess there are only a couple of problems that can keep the AC from toiling correctly. I started problemshooting all of those areas. I checked the drain line first, but periodically the drain line can become plugged with dirt or out. If the water can’t drain correctly, then the AC will not work. The AC drain line turned out to be the largest problem with the system. The drain line was filled with dirt plus mud. There wasn’t any water at all coming out of the air conditioner. I used sizzling bleach water to wash out the condenser drain line. I turned the air conditioner back on plus waited to see if that helped with the problem. Much to our surprise, cleaning the drain line solved the issue completely. If I had contacted the AC service service, I actually would have spent about $200 for them to do the exact same thing that I did for free.
