Responding to a midnight call request for help with indoor comfort

When I started working at the condo comfort corporation I was assigned the PM shift which entailed working from 11 pm up until several in the morning.

I used to prefer the shift because it gave me time to study the cooling systems I was working with.

All of us were a team of about various cooling specialists plus the people I was with and I would only attend off-site jobs until several in the night because of security reasons. One time, I was studying for my final test to graduate as a professional, when I received a call from what sounded love an elderly woman. She was saying her dual system was emitting smoke. She had followed all the required energy saving help tips gave by the homeowner solutions but the unit was now misbehaving. As the people I was with and I could not visit the premises, I tried guiding her on what to do over the cellphone. I asked if her temperature control was functioning plus recommended she reduce the temperature plus then switch it off. To help with indoor comfort for the night, I suggested her to use her fan throughout the night. All of us busy the AM shift cooling techs to further examine the unit. When I came in the following night, I followed up on the case plus found out the cooling workman had installed a new heat pump plus upgraded to a smart temperature control. I called the client plus she confirmed that the new quality HVAC had improved the quality of indoor comfort. She was honestly impressed with the condo services that she received from us, she even referred more than two of her neighbors. I always prefer my job as it gives me the option to meet odd individuals plus experience new challenges.
