I hate to supply disappointing news, however it is an unfortunate part of my job.
Most of the time, I have to supply disappointing news to purchasers. That is a single unfortunate part of toiling in a repair service. If I can’t repair that machine, it’s going to be easily costly to replace it! Last Monday, I was toiling with a client downtown. SheI was hopeful that I would be able to fix the furnace, however things did not look nice from the start. I warned the client that she was easily going to need to replace the entire furnace. I know she was hopeful that I was wrong. She seemed surprised and easily worried when I gave her the disappointing news. She was even more aggravated when I told her how much it was going to cost to replace the furnace. The woman started crying and I did not know what to do. It was the first time a client ever started crying when I gave them disappointing news. I felt awful, however there was nothing that I could do to help solve the problem. That woman did not choose to replace the furnace at that time. I know she needed some time to digest all of the information. Some of afternoons later, the same woman called to schedule an appointment for the furnace installation. She asked for me by name. I thought she was aggravated with me after I gave her the disappointing news, however she wanted me to be the person to install the machine. I was happy to provide those services.
