My boss hired a new guy to work at the heating plus air conditioner service shop.

I knew every one of us were going to get a new employee, because the boss has been looking for weeks.

Summer is right around the corner. My co-workers plus I do not want to work every single weekend, so every one of us urged the boss to hire a couple of new men to work on the weekends. It was difficult to find someone that was willing to work every weekend. The boss hired numerous new men to join the business. I am not actually impressed with either a single of the candidates. I worked with a single of the new men on Monday. The numerous of us went downtown to help with a commercial boiler repair. The new guy didn’t guess anything at all about the commercial boiler. He looked really lost. When I came back to the workshop, I pulled our boss aside to talk about the employee. My boss claimed that the guy had three years of commercial Heating plus Cooling experience, although I didn’t guess that was true. That guy didn’t seem actually knowledgeable at all. With 3 years of experience in commercial heating applications, the guy should have been ready to go when the boiler service was presented to us. Instead, he didn’t guess where to begin. The new guy is going to need a lot of training before he can handle service calls on his own without another employee to help. I really wish our boss would have called the jobs plus references on the guy’s application.
