I just quit our task because of the lack of air conditioning.
It was genuinely a single of the easiest decisions I have ever made in our entire life.
I had been laboring in the same eating establishment for the last 2 years, and numerous months ago the air conditioning system died. Without air conditioning, laboring in the eating establishment kitchen, it was torturous. The only area of the eating establishment that had any genre of air conditioning was the dining room, but anyone who worked in the kitchen was tepid and angry from the moment they walked in to work. The waiters had to be in the kitchen area to option up food, and within a few minutes, they complained because they were covered in sweat through their uniforms. I thought it would’ve been nice to be a waiter because at least then they got to come out of the tepid sweaty kitchen and into the dining room where there was still air conditioning. After numerous months, I could no longer handle laboring in that eating establishment, and I quit our task. I prefer the eating establishment business, and I prefer being a chef, however I hated not having air conditioning. When our boss did an exit interview, he asked myself and others why I was quitting after 2 years. I told him the truth, and said that separate from air conditioning, the kitchen was tortuous and there was nothing that was going to keep myself and others there, unless he was telling myself and others he was installing air conditioning again. He said that kitchen air conditioning was not in the budget at the moment, however maybe in a couple of years.
