I have an easy day today with lining up an HVAC company to come out and tune up our electric heating system.
It is in dire need of a tune up and service as it hasn’t been heating the house as well as it used to. I’m not really sure what has changed with it but something is causing it to not heat as efficiently as it used to so I am getting someone to come out and take a look at it. I cleaned the furnace filter on it weeks ago but that didn’t help it so I am going to bring in an HVAC expert to solve the problem for me. I don’t want to try and do it myself or I could mess up the whole system like I did one time when I was trying to save some money. I ended up doing an improper wiring job with the heat pump and fried the thing, which ended up costing me a lot more money in the end to get fixed properly. I’ve since learned from my mistakes and now just have the guys who know what they are doing come out and fix it the right way. Once I get the heating fixed then I am going to do some painting around the house to get it ready for the market. We are going to downsize to a much smaller house so we don’t have to be constantly working on the house all of the time and spending needless money on it. I’ll call the HVAC business now.
