Day 2 of the weather storm and there is so much snow outside.
I shoveled 5 or 6 times these last 2 days and I’m extremely tired.
I wish I had invested money into snow boots. I have changed my socks everytime I shoveled. I only have 4 pairs of socks and I guess that is something else I need to get more of. I’m glad I bought a washer and dryer last summer. Also thanks to the heated floors in my house my feet warm up fast. Outside of having heated floors I have the heater pumping heat through the vents. I get cold easily so I use the portable heater as well. I actually have it sitting right next to my chair and turn that on every time I’m done shoveling. Feet on the floor, portable heater helps keep my toes toasty. I have a hot cup of coffee between each time I shovel. It’s probably going to give me a heart attack. I have to run to the store which is very convenient as it’s right next door. I see that the same employee has been there for a couple days now named Mark. I’ll pay him a visit since I’m sure business is slow and I need things. I walk to the store and I feel the squishiness from the snow seeping through my shoes and socks. Arrive in the store and it feels warm in there but not nearly as warm as my place. I grab a frozen pizza and some beverages. I say high to Mark who looks exhausted. I feel bad for the guy but he says he’s doing fine, it’s better than his house which has no heat currently. I head back home and straight to my chair. I love my heater!
