I have streamlined my life about as much as I could.
I used to labor for 50 plus hours a week plus owned a costly home, which also took a great chunk of my time, however I grew tired of all that stuff, so I walked away from it all about 15 years ago.
I knew there was more to life than just getting by plus I got tired of just “working for the weekend” as the song goes. Then I would arrive there to find myself working on my home plus mowing my grass. By the time my home chores were finished I was left with little free time though. My local company ate up a lot of my time plus energy plus I felt as if my life was passing by without much happening however work. I became a comic plus sold everything before moving away to NYC to practice the craft. I now live overseas plus have a job for a local company here part time, which gives me a lot of free time to pursue my interests. I have traveled to many countries plus had so many experiences that I wouldn’t have had if I kept my old job plus home in the US. I like to labor as a cooling tech some during the week, however I don’t want to spend all of my extra time cleaning weather conditions control systems when there is so much more to living life. I play in a band now, which is something I never could have done with my limited time back in the USA, plus it is so rewarding to me plus fills me with joy. Well, I am off to disinfect my heating system filters.
