I don’t consider myself to be an artist or anything of the sort.
But I would say that I’m a pretty large activityist.
I genuinely enjoyed finding old discarded furniture and refurbishing it to Sparkle. I feel like there’s tons of awesome pieces sitting on curb sides around to the city, just waiting for a fresh coat of paint. At that point, they have a whole new life ahead of them. It’s something that I genuinely cherish doing, however it does take up a great deal of space. That’s why I’ve been sequestered to the job with my little art projects. I have tons of painted furniture store it out there, and thank God that I’m allowed to take up this much room. The only issue that I genuinely have, is the heat in the garage each morning. In the afternoon, the sun comes streaming onto the garage doors and the temperature genuinely starts to climb. It was getting ungodly boiling in there every morning, and I was pretty sad about the Integrity of my paints and furniture. I did not want anything to bake in the heat. I started talking to the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation asking what could be done, and they offered to come out to take a look at my new heating and cooling system. When they arrived on the scene, they had pretty great news for me! There is genuinely a heating and cooling air ducts connected to the garage that needed to be unjammed. I had wondered why there are air vents in the garage; Once they unclog to the ducts, cool air came streaming into the garage. The AC works just nice in that space… Now, I don’t have to worry about my paints or my furniture. I can labor in cool comfort every boiling summer time afternoon.
